Retreat Investment & What's Included
The Fall 2024 rate for the Utopia Sleep Retreat is $1,800.00 USD per person. This includes accommodations and all of your meals, snacks and beverages. It does not include transportation to and from the retreat.

All bookings come with a follow up consultation in the 30 days following the retreat.​​
* Note, construction is in the final stages and the USR casitas shown here are not quite finished, but will be soon and will each including organic mattresses, and bedding, individual wood burning stoves and be decorated with non-toxic decor.
Allow me to introduce myself! I'm Derek Lacey, a sleep coach since 2016—one of the pioneers in this rapidly growing field. My journey began with personal struggles; I battled insomnia for 15 years before becoming a coach.
While initial changes improved my sleep, I sensed something deeper was missing.

Over the past 8 years, I've explored sleep resistance from biological, psychological, philosophical, emotional, and spiritual perspectives. This exploration led me to a profound realization: sleep is our most comprehensive life experience, offering unparalleled self-discovery and spiritual connection.​

The missing piece was simply honoring sleep as the deepest portal we are here to experience, an experience that can't be measured in hours and cycles. Sample Schedule
* 6-8:00am
Wake Up at Your Own Pace
Come to the main house for lemon water, coffee or tea, or opt for your favorite morning beverage to be left at the steps of your casita and enjoy your first few sips with a wonderful view! Use this time to enjoy breakfast at your own pace as well.
* 8:30 am
Intention Setting/ Morning Movement Practice
We'll gather to explore the Art of Falling Asleep's morning ritual. In this morning ritual we'll explore the practice of setting intention, and practicing presence by using life force energy reserves to fulfill those intention throughout the day.
* 10:00 am
Signature Art of Falling Asleep Workshop (Processing, Deciding, or Surrender)
Learn the principles, concepts and actions involved in the steps to falling asleep. We will begin by applying these teachings to practical parts of daily life.
* 12:00 pm
Lunch
* 2 - 4:30pm
Integration Hours
Breakout 1 on 1 sessions, activities (gardening, walks, hiking, leisure)
* 5:30pm
Dinner

*Not required, but each guest will be invited to prepare their favorite aligned meal for the group.

Campfire/Night Ritual/Ceremony

We'll go through our night ritual together around the campfire (nature permitting), surrender deeply into ceremony before retreating to our respective casitas for the night.
